Open Water Diver (Private Class)

FIRST WE RECOMMENDED A TRY SCUBA BEFORE ENROLLING IN A OPEN WATER CLASS.

To get certified as an Open Water Diver, there are three easy steps! You must own your own scuba quality mask, fins, snorkel and boots.  First, you must complete your online academics, a medical review form,  lecture, and an exam, followed by about six hours of confined water training (in a pool). Then, you can complete your open water check-out dives with us at our private local quarry, come with us on a trip, or take a Referral to another SSI Dive Center to finish your dives on your own vacation. After you have completed the three phases, you become a certified Open Water Diver. We will guide you through the process to help you pick the best route for you.

You must own your own scuba quality mask, fins, snorkel and boots.  We offer a 12% discount to our students.

Price: $650.00 (lecture & pool), + $299.00 (private checkout dives)

WE REQUIRE ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN TAKE A TRY SCUBA FIRST.

Note: classes are non-refundable.  Max pool time for this class without additional fees is 4 pool sessions (12-16 hours)
